This image is about pre-visualisation. I visualised that someone will come and make an offering at this particular place, so I positioned myself and waited. Many pilgrims came and went and this is the best shot I got. Patience pays in photography. The eye goes first to the first element i.e. the lady because it has the maximum visual weightage in the composition. The second element, i.e. the sculpture of the Makara, creates a contrast with the first element and this Dynamic Tension keeps the viewer drawn into the image. The blurred background helps separate the subject from the clutter.
